1.5 hectares of Pinot Noir planted at the bottom of the hill of Rue des Noyers parcel. Previously planted to elm trees (orme in French).
Biodynamically-farmed, worked by hand and horse. Densely planted at 8,000 vines/hectare.
Vinified in oak barrels, many of which are made from trees from the forest of Fossoy. No malo, unfined and unfiltered.
Aged 20 months in 228L oak barrels. Sur lattes for approximately 34 months. Unfined and unfiltered. Zero dosage.
100% Pinot Noir from a tiny parcel previously planted with elm trees (Orme). This barrel-aged, zero dosage cuvee captures the attributes of complexity, personality and pedigree that make Déhu Champagnes so alluring.
