I had it with Thanksgiving turkey which helped to accentuate its more savory flavors like leather, oak, vanilla, and baking spices. It works as an aperitif, a digestif and went amazing with unsweetened chocolate, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, and apple pie too.
This is an amazingly flexible little bottle, the mixoligist in you could also make this into some unique cocktails.
The higher alcohol content and sugar allow this to keep several days after being opened.
