"The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has a generous bouquet of raspberry, briary, wild strawberry, undergrowth and blood orange scents, all very complex and beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine depth, perhaps the most structured of the five Clos Saint-Jacques, and quite serious, with a long tail on the finish. Magnificent."
